Tia Carmen, raised in the Dominican Republic, inspired by the diverse flavors of the world, searches for the most delicious bites across the globe. A young woman of 30, lovingly nicknamed Carmocha by her younger sister Evangelina, she seeks to discover the diverse foods of the world. A true foodie at heart, she’s excited to try pekingduck, Mexican street corn, and Italian meatballs with tomato sauce, along with all the ethic flavors that allow her heart to beat.

The adventure continues as her travels lead her west to sunny California. Fish tacos, oysters, in & out burger she can’t wait to try them all. Longing to share with her family back home she corresponds via postcard sharing the culinary vastness of her travels...as if her eyes are opened for the first time.
